Installed Rasbpian “Wheezy” on an SD card and played with the desktop interface and command line.  Figured out how to telnet in and VNC from my laptop and iPhone.  Got bored with that and installed XBMC on a second SD card, and WOW!!!!

Takes a while and I thought it crashed a few times because the percentage hangs some times.  It pays to be patient though.  This software/hardware combo is amazing.  I’m watching Southpark in German at the moment but I can stream audio from my iPhone to my TV and watch movies and live streams from all over the world.  I’m really impressed at what you can do with this box for about $50… and this is only the beginning!

Next I’ll see if I can hook up some servos or LEDs or something and see where that leads…
